At Grill green, steak takes centre stage, but the courses also leave room for the restaurant’s signature egg sandwich and curry. The standard dinner course has 8 dishes: an appetiser selection, a soup and salad, followed by 110g of A4–A5 grade sirloin, an egg sandwich, curry and dessert. For a more substantial steak course, there is also an option featuring 110g of A5 grade fillet. One diner described the meat as so tender it seemed to melt in the mouth, and the sauce as too good to leave behind.
The egg sandwich arrives in the latter part of the course. Diners have praised its fluffy, light texture and satisfying richness; one said it was still tempting even after enjoying the steak. It is a dish worth bearing in mind when choosing a course with the whole meal in mind. The curry that follows has been described by a repeat diner as deeply flavoured, with sweetness and heat in balance.
The lunch courses listed on the menu are priced at 3,850 yen for 5 dishes with 50g of steak, 5,500 yen for 6 dishes that also include Japanese black beef braise, and 7,150 yen for 6 dishes with 100g of steak. Choose a smaller portion, add the braise or go for more steak, depending on your appetite. Lunch courses include salad, soup, mini curry and dessert; an egg sandwich can be added for 1,000 yen per 2 portions.
